Community and Charity

At Benepath, we value the community where that we call home, recognizing that our responsibility extends far beyond our services. It’s our belief that true community engagement transcends mere presence – it involves active, heartfelt participation. Each year, we week out new ways to leave a positive mark, and we’re proud to showcase some of the events and initiatives we’ve be apart of so far. These are just a few examples of how we connect with and support our community, reflecting our dedication to not just talk about change, but to actively be apart of it. If you represent or are involved with a charity looking for partnership opportunities, we invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to make an even greater impact!

Rock Your Socks

Rock Your Socks Day

This year, Benepath proudly stood in solidarity with the global community to celebrate World Down Syndrome Awareness Day by participating in Rock Your Socks Day! This special day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of diversity, inclusion, and the positive impact we can make when we come together to support and uplift each other. By rocking our most colorful, mismatched socks, we aim to spark conversations, raise awareness, and spread the message that every person is unique and valuable.

Safe Harbor of CC

Safe Harbor of Chester County

Benepath embraced the spirit of giving back through a partnership with Safe Harbor of Chester County. Our team came together for a meal packing event, preparing lunches for shelter residents and individuals facing food insecurity in our community. There's something profoundly rewarding in knowing that we've played a part in brightening someone's day, especially on International Day Of Happiness. It's a beautiful reminder of the strength and love that flourishes when we come together for a greater cause.

MLK Jr. Day Of Service

MLK Jr. Day of Service

In honor of MLK Jr. Day, we encouraged our team to participate in a day of service. Sydney reconnected with Unite for Her where she helped put together boxes that will aid in the healing journey of individuals diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers. Meanwhile, Kevin contributed to a Kids Against Hunger event, where he played a pivotal role in organizing meals for those in need. Their involvement in these events were not just a representation of Benepath, but a profound demonstration of the importance and power of contribution back to our communities.

CAADC Adopt a Family

Our latest community initiative involves partnering with Community Action Agency of Delaware County. CAADC helps over 1,000 children annually from emergency shelters, transitional/rapid re-housing programs and from economically disadvantaged families with gifts during the holidays. This effort is a wonderful opportunity for us to make a positive impact in our community by bringing joy to 4 children this holiday season.

Kids Against Hunger

Another recent event we organized was a food drive for Kids Against Hunger, an initiative that aimed to provide meals and food items to children in need all over the United States. We were given a list of items, and our team ended up donations several boxed of food to those in need.

Rags 2 Riches Animal Shelter

Being a team of animal lovers, it was clear to us that supporting a local animal rescue was essential. We discovered Rags 2 Riches, a Chester County-based rescue organization, and started a donation drive. Our collection ranged from everything from cleaning supplies and blankets to toys and treats. The commitment of Rags 2 Riches to rescuing animals in distress, providing them veterinary care, training, grooming, and new homes resonated strongly with us.

Green Drop Charitable Donations

In celebration of National Secondhand Wardrobe Day, Benepath teamed up with the Purple Heart organization through Green Drop Charitable Donations, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and supporting veterans. This collaboration highlights the importance of recycling and reusing clothing, while also aiding those who have served our country.

Rock the Block

In addition to donation drives, Benepath has also attended in-person community events. For example, last fall, we took part in "Rock the Block," a Habitat for Humanity event. With numerous community service activities available, we chose to assist in repainting classrooms at the Norristown Islamic Society. This experience was incredibly fulfilling and served as an excellent team-building exercise. We were delighted to contribute to refreshing the building, creating a vibrant and inviting learning environment for the children.

World Down Syndrome Day

We also try to support our community in smaller, everyday ways by initiating office events such as our Crazy Sock Day for World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st. This day is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome! Events like this give our employees the opportunity to have some fun, while raising money for a good cause.

Unite For Her

Another example of a small, in-person event that we did was in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year we wore pink every Wednesday throughout October and successfully raised a total of $500 for Unite For Her. This local organization is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers.
