  • In 2004, Clelland Green, the company founder, launched Benepath as a consulting firm to provide insurers and managed care organizations with advice regarding the development of consumer directed health plans.
  • In 2006 the company recognized a rapidly growing need by individuals to get quality health insurance and Benepath realigned its positioning to become an independent insurance agency. By taking on this new endeavor, Clelland learned firsthand the bumps and bruises that came along with being at the mercy of lead brokers, such as purchasing leads and using what he considered limited or inferior software database systems. Being an unparalleled marketing expert, Clelland set out on a painstaking and rather costly mission to generate his own exclusive health insurance leads and forge better software for his agents.
  • In 2007, after having major success with his leads and software, the company began getting unsolicited requests by agents and brokers to provide them with leads and software. With Clelland at the helm, along with top agents and professional consultants at his disposal, Benepath set out to be like no other lead broker.
